NJob Summary
nThe PGT Commerce Teacher is responsible for teaching Commerce subjects to senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII) in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will create an engaging learning environment, foster conceptual understanding, and prepare students for board examinations and competitive opportunities.
NKey Responsibilities
n* Teach Commerce subjects such as Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics (if assigned), and Entrepreneurship as per the CBSE curriculum.
N* Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
N* Deliver interactive andstudent-centric classroom sessions using modern teaching methodologies.
N* Monitor and evaluate students' academic performance through regular tests, assignments, and examinations.
N* Provide timely feedbackand academic support to help students improve.
N* Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations and school assessments.




N* Maintain accurate attendance records, progress reports, and academic documentation.
N* Integrate technology and digital learning tools into classroom teaching.
N* Participate in parent-teacher meetings, faculty meetings, workshops, and school events.
N* Mentor students and contribute to their overall academic and personal development.
N* Ensure classroom discipline and maintain a positive learning setting.
N* Perform additional academic or administrative duties assigned by the school management.
NQualification
n* Master's Degree in Commerce (M.Com) from a recognized university.
N* B.Ed. from a recognizedinstitution.
N* Strong knowledge of theCBSE curriculum and examination pattern.
NExperience
n* Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (preferred).
N* Experience teaching Classes XI & XII is desirable.
NSkills Required
n*Excellent subject knowledge in Commerce.
