To ensure development of EV vehicle parts and purchasing activities to meet the QCDD targets and achieve business targets
Role Description:
1. Understand, align and sign off requirements for EV vehicle parts between TVS Supplier
- SRS
- Design validation
- Part level validation
- Testing after SOP (as per AOI / AOT)
- Understand EV related standards such as
- Functional safety relevant according to ISO 26262
- EMI / EMC
- Software development procedure for instance for e.g., ASPICE
- Country specific homologation
- Prepare manufacturing feasibility and APQP with suppliers
- Prepare cost estimation for tooling development efforts and part level and negotiate with suppliers
- Development of parts (Alpha to SOP) of BO EV parts as per agreed build wise product maturity requirements
- Initiate complete PO/SA release for CBU / CKD / Imports / Spares
- Map implement traceability requirements from child part level to finished product
- Packing sign off activity with suppliers (special requirements for EV products for e.g., ESD packing)
- Prepare analysis, root cause identification , solution development implementation from Stage 30 to 90 in PQM Methodology
- Obtain PPAP, SPTR audit, sign off PSW effect file transfer for all BO parts
- Prepare process, timeline cost analysis for Gams/ CR with RD / BMW /QAD/ Supplier implement based on agreed timeline
- Monitor validity of regulatory requirements - IMDS / Country specific homologation requirments / QMS/EHS/ OHSAS/PCB for suppliers
- Monitor tool life through supply quantity additional indicators such as appearance issues, porosity rejections, supplier rejection levels initiate tool replacement activities
- Conveyor systems) through complete Techno commercial evaluation and Equipment
- Note preparation and approval with all interfacing stake holders
- Ensure Purchase order release, Design approval with supplier, Equipment trials at supplier end with proving engineer and clearance for dispatch after checking
- Compliance to equipment note / conditions as mutually agreed upon
- Monitor Alpha, Beta, and QP Manufacturing and achievement of results as per set Manufacturing process Targets and identify corrective actions and plans for nonachievement
- Support in analyzing resolving existing line problems, train operators and module controller if required
- Conduct Process cell audits /Process plant audits, give feedback with correction
Managing points (Key KPI/KRA's) :
- Improve sustain quality performance - PPM/QZS/QSF
- Achieve production volumes > 98% for selected parts
- Improve sustain SPS score of suppliers
- Ensure no pending PQM beyond agreed timeline
- Ensure availability of parts for agreed development builds/ testing for project
- Ensure total material cost contained as per budget
- Ensure total fixed cost maintained as per material cost budget
