Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and customer-focused Pharmacist / Senior Pharmacist to manage day-to-day pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a valid Jharkhand Pharmacy License , experience in hospital pharmacy operations (preferred), and solid knowledge of medicine dispensing, inventory management, and patient counselling.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines accurately as per valid prescriptions while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

- Provide appropriate patient counselling on medication usage, dosage, storage, and precautions.

- Maintain inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and ensure timely replenishment of medicines and consumables.

- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines in accordance with quality and safety standards.

- Verify prescriptions and maintain accurate dispensing records.

- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to support effective patient care.





- Maintain pharmacy documentation and ensure compliance with statutory and internal SOPs.

- Use MS Excel and email for inventory tracking, reporting, and day-to-day communication.

- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.

- Support continuous process improvements to enhance pharmacy operations and patient satisfaction.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

- D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.

Experience

- Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

- Experience in dispensing medicines, inventory management, and patient counselling.

Mandatory Requirement

- Valid Jharkhand Pharmacy Council License .

Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and dispensing practices.

- Patient counselling and communication skills.

- Inventory and stock management.

- Basic computer proficiency.

- Working knowledge of MS Excel and email communication.

- Attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare environment.

- Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
