NAbout the Role
nThe TGT Social Studies position involves teaching various Social Studies subjects to students, ensuring they receive a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum.
NResponsibilities

- N
- Teach Social Studies subjects including History, Geography, Civics, Political Science, and Economics to students. N
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes. N
- Use innovative teachingmethodologies, including maps, charts, presentations, case studies, projects, smart boards, and activity-based learning. N
- Conduct assessments, examinations, assignments, and projects to evaluate student performance. N
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports. N
- Provide constructive feedback and support students' academic growth. N
- Foster critical thinking, analytical skills,



and civic awareness among students. N
- Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment. N
- Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, school events, training programs, and co-curricular activities. N
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student learning outcomes. N

nQualifications

- N
- Graduate/Postgraduate in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related Social Science discipline. N
- B.Ed. degree is mandatory. N
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE/ICSE school preferred. N
- Solid subject knowledge and communication skills. N
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology. N
