NJob Summary
nThe Accounting Clerk supports daily accounting operations with a primary focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). The role involves processing invoices, managing vendor payments and customer collections, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The position also contributes to maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting internal and external audits.

nAccounts Payable (AP)

- Generate purchaseorders (POs) for internal purchasing needs. N
- Review vendor and contractor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization. N
- Perform 2-way / 3-way invoice matching (PO, GRN, Invoice). N
- Code invoices to the correct general ledger accounts, departments, and cost centres. N
- Enter invoice details into the accounting system within defined SLAs.

- Prepare and process vendor payments, including credit card transactions. N
- Reconcile payment records with bank and credit card statements. N
- Process employee expense reimbursements according to company policies. N
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation. N
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status or payment discrepancies. N

nAccounts Receivable (AR)

- Generate sales orders, invoices, credit memos, and billing documents accurately and on time. N
- Ensure invoices reflectcorrect pricing, taxes, discounts, and payment terms. N
- Record and apply incoming customer payments to appropriate accounts. N
- Reconcile customer payments with outstanding invoices. N
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue balances. N
- Send customer statements, reminders, and collection notices when required. N
