Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced and passionate Bakery Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong bakery skills and a genuine interest in cake making, decoration, and new cake creations.
- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare cakes, pastries, breads, desserts and other bakery products.
- Specialise in cake making and cake decoration.
- Develop current cake flavours, designs and creative products.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality and presentation.
- Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness of the bakery area.
- Manage bakery ingredients and minimise wastage.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in developing new bakery items for the café and special occasions.
- Candidate RequirementsPrevious experience as a Bakery Chef / Cake Chef.
- Strong knowledge of bakery products and techniques.
- Good experience in cake making and decoration is preferred.
- Creative, hardworking and passionate about bakery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of hygiene and food safety.
