Position: Maintenance Executive

Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Maintenance Executive to manage and maintain the infrastructure, equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other maintenance requirements across our stores in Ahmedabad. The candidate will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, vendor coordination, troubleshooting, and ensuring all stores remain operational and safe.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day maintenance activities across all assigned stores in Ahmedabad.
- Conduct regular inspection of store infrastructure, equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and other utilities.
- Handle preventive maintenance schedules for all store equipment and facilities.
- Attend and resolve breakdowns and maintenance complaints within defined timelines.
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, civil, carpentry, refrigeration, AC, exhaust, and other technical issues.
- Ensure proper functioning of kitchen equipment such as deep fryers, grills, freezers, refrigerators, exhaust systems, ovens, coffee machines, etc.
- Coordinate with external vendors, technicians, contractors, and service providers for repair and maintenance work.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and coordinate for timely completion of maintenance jobs.
- Monitor vendor performance, service quality, and maintenance costs.
- Maintain records of maintenance complaints, breakdowns, service visits, AMC, repairs, and expenses.
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed with minimum disruption to store operations.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance audits and identify potential issues before breakdowns occur.
- Manage AMC contracts for AC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, electrical systems, pest control, and other services wherever applicable.
- Coordinate for installation, shifting, replacement, and commissioning of equipment at stores.
- Check electrical panels,
wiring, switches, sockets, MCBs, DBs, lighting, signage, and other electrical requirements.
- Handle plumbing-related issues including leakage, drainage, water supply, taps, sinks, and pipelines.
- Coordinate civil and carpentry work including flooring, walls, doors, furniture, ceilings, fixtures, and store repairs.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of ACs, exhaust systems, ventilation, refrigerators, and freezers.
- Maintain adequate availability of essential maintenance tools, spare parts, and consumables.
- Track spare-parts usage and ensure cost-effective utilization of maintenance materials.
- Support new store openings by coordinating installation and maintenance requirements.
- Conduct site visits regularly and prepare maintenance reports.
- Ensure all stores comply with company safety and maintenance standards.
- Identify recurring maintenance issues and recommend permanent solutions.
- Escalate major technical issues, high-value repairs, and critical breakdowns to management.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance expenses and ensure approvals are taken as per company policy.
- Ensure emergency maintenance issues are attended to on priority.
- Coordinate with Store Managers and Area Managers regarding maintenance requirements.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and within the required timeline.
- Preventive Maintenance ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain monthly preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure timely servicing of electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen, and other equipment.
- Maintain equipment-wise maintenance records.
- Track AMC and service due dates.
- Identify equipment nearing end-of-life and recommend repair/replacement.
- Reduce recurring breakdowns and unnecessary maintenance expenses.
- Vendor ManagementIdentify and coordinate with local maintenance vendors.
- Negotiate service charges and obtain competitive quotations.
- Ensure vendors complete work as per agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Verify completed work before closing maintenance requests.
- Maintain an updated vendor and technician database.
- Reporting & DocumentationDaily/weekly maintenance complaint tracking.
- Preventive maintenance reports.
- Breakdown and repair reports.

- Vendor bills and quotation records.
- Spare-parts and maintenance expense records.

- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and maintenance reporting.
- Strong follow-up and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency breakdown situations.
- Willingness to travel between stores across Ahmedabad.
Qualification
Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance, or a related technical field.
- Preferred ExperienceExperience in QSR, restaurant, hospitality, retail, or multi-location business will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience handling maintenance across multiple outlets/stores will be an advantage.
