- Develop accurate patterns for knitwear garments as per design and production requirements.
- Cut samples independently as per the approved pattern and measurements.
- Handle pattern making and sample cutting from development to final approval.
- Understand garment designs, measurements, specifications, and construction details.
- Make necessary pattern corrections based on fitting and sample feedback.
- Coordinate with the Design, Merchandising, Sampling, and Production teams.
- Ensure proper fitting, measurements, and pattern accuracy.
- Prepare patterns for sampling as well as bulk production.
- Handle size-wise grading and ensure measurement accuracy.
- Optimize pattern placement to minimize fabric wastage.
- Maintain proper records of patterns and different garment styles.
- Identify and resolve pattern and fitting-related issues during sampling and production.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience as a Pattern Master in the knitwear/garment industry.
- Robust knowledge of knitwear pattern making, garment construction, measurements, and fitting.
- Hands-on experience in sample cutting is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of pattern grading and size-wise measurements.
- Knowledge of pattern-making software will be an added advantage.
- Ability to independently handle pattern development and sample cutting.
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
