We are seeking a skilled VMC Programmer responsible for programming, setting, and optimizing machining operations on Vertical Machining Centers. The role involves developing CNC programs, improving cycle times, ensuring quality standards, and supporting production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities·

- Develop and optimize CNC programs for VMC machines using SolidCAM software.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and process sheets to create accurate machining programs
- Perform machine setup, tool selection, and prove-out of recent programs
- Optimize machining parameters to improve productivity and reduce cycle time
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and tolerances
- Troubleshoot machining issues and provide corrective actions
- Coordinate with production,



quality, and maintenance teams
- Maintain proper documentation of programs, tool lists, and process sheet
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, cost reduction, efficiency improvement)
- Ensure safety standards and 5S practices on shop floor

Key Skills Required·

- Hands-on experience with VMC machines (Fanuc / Siemens controllers)
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, NX, etc.)
- Understanding of cutting tools, fixtures, and machining processes
- Knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawings
