Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chartered Accountant to join our firm as a Partner – Statutory Audit . The ideal candidate will lead the Statutory Audit practice, drive business growth, maintain client relationships, ensure high-quality audit execution, and mentor audit professionals while ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Leadership
- Lead and manage the Statutory Audit division.
- Develop and implement strategies for practice growth.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Represent the firm in meetings with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
Audit Management
- Plan, supervise, and review statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Standards on Auditing (SA), Accounting Standards (AS), IND AS, and ICAI guidelines.
- Review financial statements and audit reports before issuance.
- Provide technical guidance on complex accounting and auditing matters.
Business Development
- Identify recent business opportunities.
- Prepare proposals and participate in client presentations.
- Expand the firm's audit portfolio through networking and referrals.
- Cross-sell other professional services offered by the firm.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients.
- Resolve complex client issues and provide strategic advice.
- Ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
Team Leadership
- Mentor Managers, Assistant Managers, Seniors, and Articles.
- Conduct technical training sessions.
- Allocate engagements and monitor team performance.
- Build a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous learning.
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to ICAI ethical standards and independence requirements.
- Maintain quality control and peer review
