Design Development: Create engineering designs, blueprints, and layouts (2D/3D) based on specifications and regulatory compliance standards.Cost Estimation & Costing: Analyze Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and tender documents to project overall material, labor, and operational costs.Proposal Generation: Draft comprehensive techno-commercial bids and proposals for client submission.Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with sales teams, project managers, vendors, and clients to align on project scopes and resolve technical inquiries.Value Engineering:
Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest design modifications to improve financial viability and manufacturing efficiency.Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOMs), maintain revision records, and manage project compliance documentation.Essential Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil).Software Proficiency: Solid hands-on experience with CAD software (like AutoCAD or Revit) and cost estimation tools.Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude, spatial awareness, and attention to detail to ensure profitability without compromising on safety or quality.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction/manufacturing methods, industry-specific standards, and supply chain pricing trends.
