- Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQ, and material estimates based on drawings and specifications.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify quantities and requirements.
- Prepare and verify contractor/vendor bills and measurements.
- Conduct site measurements and maintain measurement sheets.
- Monitor project quantities, material consumption, and variations.
- Assist in preparing rate analysis and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with the site engineering and project teams regarding quantities and billing.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly quantity and cost reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of BOQs, measurements, bills, and project records.
- Support the project team in controlling costs and minimising material wastage.
- RequirementsDiploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
- Good knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, rate analysis, and billing.
- Ability to read and understand civil/structural drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and construction-related software.
- Willingness to work at the Thondebhavi project site when required.
- Preferred SkillsKnowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Experience in residential/commercial construction projects.
- Knowledge of subcontractor billing and reconciliation will be an advantage.
