Dharmanis International is looking for a skilled, proactive, and results-driven Maintenance Engineer to oversee the installation, upkeep, and overall reliability of our manufacturing plant equipment and facility infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for minimizing equipment downtime through rigorous preventive maintenance routines, rapid emergency troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of utility systems.

- Key Responsibilities1. Preventive & Breakdown MaintenancePlan, execute, and track scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) for processing machinery, filling lines, automated packing units, and plant utilities.
- Respond rapidly to operational breakdowns; perform root-cause analysis (RCA) and carry out corrective actions to ensure minimal production disruption.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics (OEE, MTBF, MTTR) to identify recurring issues and continuously improve machine uptime.
- 2. Utility & Facility OperationsSupervise the operation and maintenance of central utility systems, including HVAC, air compressors, chillers, boilers, water treatment plants (RO/ETP/STP), and diesel generators.
- Oversee electrical power distribution, HT/LT panels, UPS systems, and facility illumination to maintain electrical safety standards.
- Ensure energy efficiency across all plant machinery and implement utility cost-reduction initiatives.
- 3. Spare Parts & Inventory ManagementMaintain optimal inventory levels of critical machinery spare parts, lubricants, tools, and consumable engineering components.
- Raise purchase requisitions for mechanical/electrical spares, verify technical specifications, and manage vendor relationships for specialized equipment support.




- Coordinate with equipment OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) for annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) and major overhauls.
- 4. Safety, Compliance & DocumentationEnsure all maintenance activities comply with factory health and safety guidelines, machine guarding standards, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, equipment history cards, breakdown reports, and calibration records as required by regulatory and quality audits.
- Standardize Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment handling and train production operators on daily basic machine maintenance.
- Key RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant setting (experience in pharmaceutical, FMCG, wellness, or herbal manufacturing environments is preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Robust diagnostic capability across both mechanical (gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics) and electrical systems (PLCs, VFDs, control panels, sensors).
- Proficiency in reading technical engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and pneumatic/hydraulic line diagrams.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or ERP-based maintenance modules (e.g., SAP PM).
- Desired CompetenciesAnalytical Problem Solving: Quick and methodical approach to diagnosing electrical or mechanical equipment failures.
- Safety First Mindset: Strict commitment to personal safety, environmental compliance, and plant safety regulations.
- Vendor & Team Coordination: Strong interpersonal skills to manage external engineering vendors and direct junior technicians.
