Fitter Turner Technician – Job DescriptionPosition: Fitter Turner Technician

Department: Production / Machine Shop

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job SummaryWe are looking for a Fitter Turner Technician with around 1 year of experience to support machining, fitting, maintenance, and assembly activities. The candidate should be able to operate conventional machines and perform basic fabrication, fitting, measurement, and maintenance work.

- Key ResponsibilitiesOperate Lathe, Drilling, Grinding and other conventional machines.
- Perform turning, facing, drilling, threading, boring and basic machining operations.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and basic dimensions.
- Perform fitting, assembly, alignment and adjustment of machine components.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Vernier Height Gauge and Gauges.
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain proper dimensions and surface finish as per drawings.
- Assist in fabrication and manufacturing of pharmaceutical machinery components.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the machine shop.
- Follow production schedules,



quality requirements and safety procedures.
- Required SkillsBasic knowledge of Fitting and Turning operations.
- Ability to operate a conventional lathe machine.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Good understanding of workshop safety.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a production team.
- ITI/Diploma in Fitter, Turner, Mechanical or related trade preferred.

ExperienceMinimum 1 year of relevant experience in a machine shop, fabrication unit, engineering company or pharmaceutical machinery manufacturing company.

- Preferred CandidateA technically skilled and disciplined candidate who is willing to learn, work with precision and support the production team in manufacturing and assembly activities.

- Monday to Saturday
- Salary-18000-20,000/-
