NJob Responsibilities
nReview inpatient medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and MS-DRG codes.
NEnsure coding accuracy and compliance with official coding guidelines and client requirements.
NAnalyze clinical documentation and identify documentation gaps.
NRaise physician queries whenever clarification is required.
NMeet quality, productivity, and turnaround time targets.
NParticipate in coding audits and implement audit feedback.
NMaintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
NRequired Qualifications
NBachelor's degree in LifeSciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related healthcare discipline.
NCCS (Certified Coding Specialist) certification is mandatory.
N2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in IPDRG/Inpatient Medical Coding.
NStrong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRG methodology, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
NGood analytical and communication skills.
NWork Location: Tharamani, Chennai (Work from Office)
