NRole Purpose
nProvides technical leadership for catalytic Methanation section during Pre-FEED, BDEP, and FEED phases of the Syngas-to-SNG project;
scope covers fixed-bed reactor systems, recycle gas compression, inter-stage cooling, and SNG product conditioning
NLeads evaluation and selection of methanation technology licensors (e.G., Topsoe TREMP, JM, or equivalent);
ensures technical integrity of process deliverables. Manages and coordinates with the technologists.

- N
- Lead technology selection and evaluation for the Methanation section — fixed-bed adiabatic reactor systems, recycle gas compression, inter-stage heat recovery, and SNG conditioning train;
establish technology selection criteria covering catalyst type, activity, poison tolerance, and thermal management;
evaluate licensor proposals (TREMP, HICOM, or equivalent) and drive technology selection recommendations. N
- Define SNG product quality targets — CH4 content, Wobbe index, heating value,
CO2 and H2O limits — and ensure methanation system design meets grid injection or end-use specifications N
- Coordinate and manage discipline Technologists;
assign work, review outputs, and ensure technical consistency across disciplines N
- Review licensor technology proposals, process descriptions, and datasheets;
challenge technical claims and assess performance guarantees N
- Lead preparation of Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) for technology packages;
drive licensor selection recommendations N
- Review Pre-FEED deliverables (process basis, heat & mass balances, technology selection reports) N
- Lead PFD and P&ID; review;
ensure completeness, technical accuracy, and operability N
- Lead and coordinate HAZID and HAZOP;
ensure all actions are documented and closed N
