Career Category Finance The position will report to the AVP Corporate Finance and will be a member of Amgen s Global Finance Leadership Team Key responsibilities Independently leading and managing a centralized local FP A team that will be responsible for several key planning activities within the forecasting cycle Driving and identifying new procedures processes or modifying existing ones which lead to improved cost effectiveness and or appropriate quality compliance and standardization levels Implement standard reporting and consistent delivery across functions Developing and implementing schedules objectives and goals Partnering with Executive Directors and Directors in Finance FP A Accounting Procurement Tax Treasury etc to support the strategic directions of the business Implementing new technology and artificial intelligence to improve efficiency productivity and or delivery Managing a centralized Anaplan forecasting process for outside expenses Provide strategic analysis and interpretation of the financial results Training and implementation of finance policies and procedures This role requires an experienced energetic individual with a strong finance background The successful candidate will have proven leadership and management capability Experience in driving and implementing strategic change Detail oriented strong business analytical skills Strong written verbal communication and presentation skills are required Positive attitude and a strong work ethic Ability to multi-task prioritize and manage multiple deliverables Exceptional interpersonal skills influence at all levels functions geographies Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment Required Personal Competencies Integrity - Holds to core values and expected behavior and holds others to the same standard - no exceptions Technical Knowledge - Deep knowledge of Financial Planning and Analytics Drives Results - Sets compelling goals and aggressive schedules for improvement while remaining versatile in a rapidly changing environment Communication - Articulate makes arguments in a compelling manner and influences decision making Building Teams - Delegates gives significant responsibilities to team members and holds them accountable
