Job Title Consultant Nephrologist Location Vikash Hospital Sambalpur Odisha Job Type Full-Time In office Department Nephrology About Vikash Hospital Vikash Hospital is a growing multi-specialty healthcare institution in Sambalpur Odisha dedicated to providing high-quality patient-centric care With modern medical facilities and expanding specialty services we are looking for a committed and experienced Consultant Nephrologist to strengthen our nephrology department Role Overview The Consultant Nephrologist will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patients with kidney-related diseases overseeing dialysis services and ensuring comprehensive nephrology care in both OPD and IPD settings Key Responsibilities Provide OPD and IPD consultations for kidney and urinary tract disorders Diagnose and treat acute and chronic kidney diseases electrolyte disorders hypertension and renal emergencies Manage dialysis patients and supervise the dialysis unit Perform procedures such as kidney biopsies catheter insertions if applicable Collaborate with intensivists physicians and surgeons for multidisciplinary patient care Monitor CKD ESRD and transplant patients as per clinical guidelines Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to treatment protocols Participate in clinical audits CMEs and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications MBBS with MD DNB General Medicine AND DM DNB Nephrology Valid NMC State Medical Council registration Fresh DM DNB nephrologists or experienced consultants are welcome to apply Skills Competencies Strong diagnostic and clinical management skills in nephrology Ability to manage dialysis and renal emergencies independently Good communication teamwork and patient counseling ability Commitment to evidence-based and ethical medical practice Salary Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Modern nephrology and dialysis infrastructure Supportive and growth-oriented work environment Work Schedule Full-time on-site Job Type Full-time Pay 450 000 00 - 700 000 00 per month Work Location In person
