Job Title Material Planning Associate Location MRO Bengaluru BLR Job Type Full-time Function Engineering Material Planning Reports To Material Planning Incharge We are hiring a Material Planning Associate to support material forecasting inventory control and procurement coordination for aircraft maintenance operations The role ensures optimal stock availability accurate planning and efficient supplier management to reduce downtime and maintain operational reliability Key Responsibilities Conduct inventory assessments reviews and maintain accurate planning data Forecast material requirements using historical data and industry trends Ensure timely material availability for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance Review BOMs coordinate with suppliers and arrange spares BFE IFE rotables and tooling Track service levels usage reorder points EOQ and inventory parameters in ERP Support AOG requirements with fast coordination across engineering and logistics Manage supplier performance negotiate pricing and delivery schedules Review surplus slow-moving items and support inventory optimization Assist in alternate parts advice class change requests and planning documentation Skills Competencies Analytical Proficiency Supplier Relationship Management Logistics Planning Coordination Problem-Solving Ability Time Management Prioritization Excellent Communication Education Experience Requirements Minimum Bachelor s degree in Engineering Supply Chain Logistics Business Administration or related field 2 4 years experience in material planning inventory management or procurement Desired 5 years experience in material planning with solid forecasting supplier management Aviation industry experience preferred Skills Matrix Three Words Each Material Planning Accuracy Inventory Forecasting Expertise Supplier Coordination Efficiency Aviation Indeed does not charge any fees for interviews or recruitment Report any fraudulent activity at
