Job Information Job Type Full timeIndustry TechnologyCity ChennaiCountry India We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Finance Tax Compliance function This role will support core finance and operational functions across our India and US entities You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliant efficient and accurate execution of finance tax audit payroll and business operations processes Key Responsibilities Manage accounting activities including general ledger reconciliation AR AP Ensure timely execution of payroll and statutory payments including TDS PF PT etc Handle treasury functions vendor payments invoicing and collections Prepare tax computations filings and support tax audits both direct and indirect taxes Assist with financial audits and investor or diligence requests Ensure compliance with accounting standards company law labour laws and tax regulations Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders Support business operations contracts and finance-linked workflows Collaborate with internal stakeholders HR legal sales customer success product and external partners consultants advisors regulators Own month quarter year-end closing processes end-to-end ensuring books and compliance are wrapped up accurately and on schedule Note These responsibilities span India and US entities as applicable Tools Systems Exposure India Zoho RazorpayX Payroll US Gusto QuickBooks Online QBO Maxio Prophix Avalara Internal Spendflo s platform Slack Notion Gemini ChatGPT AngelList CapTable Qualification B Com or MBA with specialisation in Finance and Taxation Experience 0-2 years of relevant experience in finance compliance and operations Strong foundational knowledge of Indian tax finance payroll and compliance processes Experience in SaaS startup environments is a plus Who you are Technology-driven mindset comfortable leveraging AI and automation Get-things-done executor with a sense of ownership Versatile to take on diverse responsibilities in a scaling environment Curious about business operations beyond finance Clear communicator and strong collaborator Proactive structured thinker with a bias for problem prevention Thrives in fast-paced and dynamic work setting Committed to learning growth and continuous improvement
