Purchase Head - Alcohol Distillery Plant Location Multiple Locations Across India Candidate should be open to managing purchase operations across 2-3 distillery plants in different states Salary Range 1 00 000 - 1 50 000 per month Negotiable for the right candidate Company Overview A leading distillery company with a strong presence across India The organization is known for its excellence in grain-based alcohol production high-quality standards and sustainable procurement practices With multiple manufacturing units across the country the company is expanding its procurement operations and inviting experienced professionals to join its leadership team We are now looking for a agile and result-oriented Purchase Head to lead the procurement and sourcing operations for multiple plants Qualification Graduate preferably in Commerce Science or Engineering MBA in Supply Chain Materials Management will be an added advantage Experience Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in purchase and procurement operations within distilleries Must have worked as a Plant Manager or Purchase Head in a grain-based alcohol or ENA distillery Strong understanding of grain procurement rice maize malt etc raw material sourcing and vendor management Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee end-to-end purchase operations across multiple distillery units 2-3 plants Ensure timely procurement of grains malt packaging material and other raw materials Develop and maintain a robust supplier base across India for key raw materials Conduct cost analysis and drive price negotiations to achieve best value for the organization Evaluate and on board new suppliers ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards Coordinate closely with production quality and finance teams to align purchasing with business needs Monitor inventory levels plan material requirements and avoid stock-outs or overstocking Negotiate and finalize Annual Rate Contracts ARCs and Long-Term Agreements LTAs with vendors Implement strategic sourcing and cost optimization initiatives Ensure timely logistics and delivery coordination to all plants Prepare and review MIS reports purchase budgets and cost projections Skills Competencies Strong negotiation and analytical skills Excellent knowledge of grain markets malt and distillery supply chain Proven ability to handle multi-location procurement operations Strong leadership and team management skills Good communication and vendor relationship management Proficiency in MS Office ERP systems and procurement software Preferred Candidate Profile Experience in grain-based alcohol ENA distilleries is mandatory Should have handled bulk procurement minimum 100 MT day of grains such as broken rice maize barley or malt Candidates with pan-India supplier network will be preferred Willingness to travel extensively to plant sites and vendor locations Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 100 000 00 - 150 000 00 per month
