Position overview We are seeking an Architect to lead the planning design and coordination of building projects from concept to completion The role involves client interaction preparation of drawings and documents coordination with consultants and periodic site visits to ensure design and statutory compliance Key responsibilities Meet clients to understand project requirements budget and timelines and translate them into clear design briefs Prepare concept designs schematic layouts and detailed architectural drawings using CAD BIM tools Develop municipal approval drawings working drawings and construction details in line with applicable building rules codes and regulations Coordinate with structural MEP and other consultants to integrate their inputs into a coherent set of drawings Prepare BOQs specifications and tender construction documentation as required Review and update designs based on client consultant feedback site conditions and statutory comments Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress clarify drawings and resolve design-related issues Assist in project planning timelines and design deliverable schedules ensure adherence to quality standards Maintain organised project records drawings and correspondence Required qualifications Bachelor s degree in Architecture B Arch or D Arch from a recognized institution Proven experience as an Architect you can specify e g 2-5 years in residential commercial or industrial projects as relevant Proficiency in AutoCAD Sketchup Revit will be an added benifit MS Office and basic familiarity with local building byelaws Job Type Full time Pay 15 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
