About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in fast-growing e-commerce start-ups The ideal candidate must have worked closely with founders or core leadership teams and should possess strong expertise in e-commerce financial operations across marketplace Amazon Flipkart Nykaa etc and D2C platforms Shopify WooCommerce etc If you have been the go-to accounting person for a start-up handling everything from reconciliations to compliance this role is for you Key Responsibilities Independently manage end-to-end accounting operations AP AR reconciliations monthly and annual closing Prepare analyze Financial Statements MIS reports Cash Flow statements P L and forecasts Ensure timely and accurate GST TDS and statutory filings as per Indian regulatory requirements Coordinate with auditors tax consultants banks and regulatory authorities Handle inventory accounting returns marketplace settlements payment gateway reconciliations and revenue recognition Strengthen and optimize internal controls accounting processes SOPs and financial systems Work closely with operations marketing warehouse and supply chain teams to ensure accurate financial reporting Support budgeting forecasting and financial planning with leadership Collaborate directly with founders on financial strategy cost controls and business insights Requirements Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance CA Inter or MBA Finance preferred 4-5 years of accounting experience specifically in e-commerce startups or online-first brands Robust knowledge of Marketplace accounting Amazon Flipkart Nykaa Myntra etc D2C platforms such as Shopify Payment gateway settlements Commission structures platform fee deductions and returns Proficiency in Tally Zoho Books or similar accounting tools Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities Solid understanding of GST TDS and Indian compliance Prior experience working directly with founders senior leadership in a startup setting Strong ownership mindset problem-solving skills and ability to manage financial operations independently What We Offer Opportunity to work with a high-growth e-commerce brand with direct interaction with founders Ownership autonomy and exposure to strategic financial decision-making Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives Important Note Only candidates with proven experience in e-commerce accounting and prior exposure to startup environments will be considered Job Type Full-time Pay 34 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Work from home Ability to commute relocate Noida Uttar Pradesh Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Experience E-Commerce 4 years Required Accounting 5 years Required Application Deadline 16 12 2025 Expected Start Date 18 12 2025
