Department TGT-2 Job posted on Dec 02 2025 Employee Type Permanent Namaste The DAV Group - Chennai functioning under the aegis of Tamil Nadu Arya Samaj Educational Society was established in 1970 at Gopalapuram in Chennai with just 50 students The Group today caters to over 40 000 students across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry It has a staff of 1500 plus which includes 1 200 teachers Four of our branches have been consistently ranked amongst top 15 schools in the country In addition to K-12 schooling DAV has recently ventured into Higher Education with DAV-SMK Fomra College of Arts Science at Kelambakkam Chennai In this context we would be interested in recruiting suitable candidates for the position of TGT2 Science Teacher to teach Classes 9 10 The teacher will deliver science lessons that help students build strong conceptual understanding and encourage scientific thinking and curiosity Educational QualificationBachelor s degree B Sc in Science with relevant major subjects e g Botany Zoology Chemistry or other appropriate combination Professional teaching qualification e g B Ed or equivalent as per school board requirements Roles ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver science lessons theory and practical concepts for Classes 6-8 Prepare teaching materials assignments experiments demonstrations conduct assessments and evaluate student performance Provide extra support remedial help to students who need assistance Maintain class records including attendance academic performance and progress Create and maintain a supportive inclusive and disciplined classroom workplace Collaborate with other teachers and staff for academic coordination and school activities Job type Full time Salary shall commensurate with experience
