1 Welding Fabrication Perform MIG welding on mild steel stainless steel and other materials as required Set up welding machine parameters voltage wire speed gas flow Fabricate parts using cutting grinding tacking and fitting processes Ensure welds meet strength penetration and appearance standards 2 Reading Drawings Measurements Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols Measure and mark materials using measuring tapes squares and gauges Ensure dimensional accuracy of fabricated components 3 Quality Control Inspect welds visually and with measuring tools Identify and rectify welding defects such as porosity undercut cracks or spatter Maintain welding quality logs when required 4 Machine Tool Maintenance Maintain welding machines torches gas cylinders and tools in proper condition Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment Ensure proper gas handling and safety checks 5 Safety Compliance Follow all safety rules PPE usage gloves helmet apron shoes Maintain protected working practices to prevent burns electrical hazards and fire risk Ensure proper ventilation during welding 6 Coordination Reporting Coordinate with supervisors and other fabricators to meet production targets Report material shortages machine issues or quality concerns Job Type Full-time Pay 13 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
