Position Title Factory Maintenance Engineer Department Engineering Maintenance - SRG Power Control System Location Coimbatore Reports To Plant Manager General Manager Role Summary The Factory Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation upkeep and reliability of all factory equipment and infrastructure within SRG Power Control System manufacturing facilities This role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production efficiency Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical mechanical and utility systems Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns in machinery power systems and fabrication equipment Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules Coordinate with production teams to minimize disruption during maintenance activities Ensure compliance with safety standards statutory requirements and ISO certifications Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and workplace safety Identify opportunities for process improvement and equipment upgrades Support energy efficiency and cost-saving initiatives Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities spare parts inventory and equipment history Prepare reports on downtime root cause analysis and corrective actions Work closely with production quality and engineering teams Guide and train technicians operators on equipment handling and basic maintenance Qualifications Diploma Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering 0-3 years of experience in factory maintenance preferably in electrical equipment or power control systems manufacturing Solid knowledge of electrical systems hydraulics pneumatics and fabrication machinery Skills Competencies Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices Strong communication and coordination abilities Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Commitment to safety and compliance Job Type Full-time Pay 14 000 00 - 18 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
