We are looking for an Automation Engineer to design program install and maintain automation and control systems onboard ships The role involves ensuring smooth operation of machinery automation navigation propulsion and safety systems in compliance with marine standards Key Responsibilities Design develop and program automation and control systems for shipboard applications Configure and maintain PLC SCADA and control systems for propulsion power management HVAC and machinery Conduct testing commissioning and troubleshooting of automation systems Prepare technical documentation control logic diagrams and system manuals Ensure compliance with class regulations IMO standards and safety requirements Collaborate with electrical mechanical and design teams for system integration Support ship trials and provide technical assistance during project execution Skills Competencies Solid knowledge of PLCs DCS SCADA HMI and marine automation systems Hands-on experience in programming and troubleshooting control logic Familiarity with shipboard machinery automation and safety systems Proficiency in automation software tools and system diagnostics Problem-solving analytical and communication skills Qualifications Experience Bachelor s Degree Diploma in Electrical Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering Experience in marine automation shipbuilding or offshore industry preferred Knowledge of classification society rules and international marine standards is an advantage Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 250 000 00 - 350 000 00 per year Benefits Commuter assistance Food provided Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
