Position Mechanical Technician Fitter Assembler Location Talawade Pune Industry Industrial Machinery Automation Manufacturing Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician Fitter Assembler to join our dynamic engineering team The ideal candidate will be responsible for the mechanical assembly retrofitting and alignment of industrial machines and equipment This is a hands-on role suitable for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and prior experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical assembly and fitting of industrial machinery and automation equipment according to design specifications Interpret and work from mechanical drawings CAD schematics and technical instructions to ensure accurate assembly and alignment Carry out retrofitting and refurbishment of existing machines and systems including disassembly inspection and part replacement Align and calibrate components with precision tools dial gauges micrometers torque wrenches etc Work with CNC machines turning centers and custom automation setups ensuring proper integration of mechanical subassemblies Collaborate with electrical and control teams to ensure smooth interdepartmental workflows Conduct functional testing debugging and pre-dispatch checks of mechanical systems Follow strict safety and quality control procedures during all stages of assembly and maintenance Maintain clean organized and tool-ready workstations Provide on-site support if needed for installation and commissioning of machines at customer locations Eligibility Criteria Qualification ITI Diploma B Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field Experience Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in machine assembly mechanical fitting or industrial maintenance preferred Freshers with strong practical training during coursework or internships may also be considered Skills Attributes Ability to read and understand mechanical and engineering drawings Proficiency with workshop tools and measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and mechanical problem-solving skills Basic understanding of pneumatics hydraulics will be an added advantage Willingness to learn and work as part of a collaborative team Physical stamina to work in industrial conditions What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits based on experience and skills Opportunity to work with advanced machinery and custom-built automation solutions Exposure to real-world industrial projects and continuous learning workplace A professional yet friendly work culture with growth opportunities Job Type Full-time Pay 11 994 92 - 41 645 80 per month Ability to commute relocate Talawade Pune Maharashtra Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Preferred Experience Retrofitting machine 2 years Preferred Reconditioning Machine 2 years Preferred Work Location In person
