Job Title Video Editor Overview We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our creative team As a Video Editor you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director s vision and is suitable for broadcasting This role requires a keen eye for detail creative flair and proficiency with industry-standard editing software Responsibilities 1 Editing Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is seamless visually appealing and in line with the director s vision 2 Storyboarding Create rough and final cuts based on the storyboard and script 3 Collaboration Collaborate with the creative team producers and clients to understand project requirements and objectives 4 Sound Editing Ensure the correct alignment and syncing of audio and video 5 Effects Incorporate music sound effects graphics and special effects as needed 6 Review and Feedback Receive and implement feedback from clients directors and producers 7 Technical Expertise Stay updated with industry trends and editing technologies to ensure videos are produced to the highest standard 8 File Management Manage and organize media files and project assets 9 Deadline Management Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality Requirements - Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role - Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages e g Adobe Premiere Final Cut Pro Avid Media Composer etc - Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio - Thorough knowledge of timing pacing and continuity - Creative mind and storytelling skills - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously - BS degree in film studies cinematography or related field is a plus Preferred Qualifications - Experience with motion graphics and animation - Knowledge of color grading and correction - Understanding of codecs formats and delivery methods Additional Information This position offers an opportunity to work in a energetic environment where creativity and technical skill are highly valued We are looking for someone who is passionate about storytelling through video and who can contribute innovative ideas to our projects Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience Video Editing 1 year Preferred total work 1 year Preferred Video Production 1 year Preferred Work Location In person
