Core responsibilities Maintenance and repair Perform routine maintenance inspect equipment and diagnose and repair electrical systems motors lighting and fixtures This also includes the mechanical maintenance of electrical components like lubrication and replacing bearings Troubleshooting Quickly identify and fix problems with plant equipment including emergency repairs and understand the link between electrical issues and production stoppages Installation Install recent electrical equipment wiring and control systems like PLCs in compliance with electrical codes System upkeep Maintain electrical systems generators and switchgear and perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment to avoid breakdowns Safety and compliance Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety regulations including the Lock Out Tag Out LOTO procedures Record keeping Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities repairs and inventory Collaboration and training Work with other maintenance staff and train less-experienced electricians or apprentices Industry-specific responsibilities Textile Specialized equipment Work on specialized electrical control systems common in textile manufacturing including those for winding ring frames and other machinery Process control Maintain and repair instrumentation like flow meters thermocouples and PLCs used in textile process control Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 18 000 00 - 24 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Work Location In person
