Plant Manager - Biomass Pellet Manufacturing 100 TPD Job Purpose The Plant Manager is responsible for the effective safe and profitable operation of a 100 TPD biomass pellet manufacturing facility The role includes overseeing all aspects of production maintenance staffing quality control safety environmental compliance and continuous improvement of processes to achieve business objectives Key Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate daily plant operations including production maintenance logistics and quality assurance functions Achieve and maintain target production levels 100 TPD output with attention to efficiency quality and cost control Develop implement and monitor production schedules to meet business requirements and client commitments Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all equipment and machinery coordinating closely with engineering teams Ensure compliance with all safety health and environmental regulations champion best practices for EHS Environment Health and Safety Lead and mentor a team of technicians supervisors and operators recruit train and evaluate staff to foster a skilled and motivated workforce Manage inventory of raw materials such as biomass feedstock consumables and finished goods liaise with suppliers to ensure consistent supply Monitor plant performance establish key performance indicators KPIs analyze data and generate regular reports for management Develop and manage plant budgets drive cost-saving initiatives and ensure financial accountability Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure the pellets meet all technical and customer specifications Drive continuous process improvements integrating best practices and new technologies to maximize operational efficiency and product quality Address and resolve any production or operational issues ensure rapid response to plant upsets or downtime Maintain community relations and communicate clearly with local stakeholders if required Uphold company policies ethics and cultural values in all activities Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Engineering Mechanical Electrical or related field or relevant technical discipline 2 years experience in a management role in manufacturing preferably in the biomass wood pellet or energy sector Proven experience in plant operations production management and team leadership Demonstrated knowledge of machinery production processes quality systems and EHS compliance Strong analytical organizational and troubleshooting skills proficiency with relevant software tools Excellent communication and leadership abilities to motivate and manage teams Additional Desirable Skills Familiarity with biomass supply chain and logistics Experience with process improvement methodologies Lean Six Sigma etc Budget management and cost optimization experience Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Shift availability Day Shift Preferred Night Shift Preferred Overnight Shift Preferred Work Location In person
