JOB DESCRIPTION Calling all originals At Levi Strauss Co you can be yourself and be part of something bigger We re a company of people who like to forge our own path and leave the world better than we found it Who believe that what makes us different makes us stronger So add your voice Make an impact Find your fit and your future Summary of the role The Director Global Accounting Process is responsible for driving the strategic transformation of Global Accounting team The role focuses on optimizing processes implementing best practices and KPIs and leveraging technology to ensure efficiency in support of timely and accurate financial reporting This role is pivotal in driving global centralization and standardization of process process re-engineering identify automation opportunities end-to-end process transition monitor operational key performance indicators KPIs and collaborating with process teams to continuously enhance operational efficiency The Director Global Accounting Process will collaborate closely with both the Business Process Automation team and the Digital and Technology team on the identification design implementation and maintenance of technology solutions And will be Reporting to the VP - Global Accounting About the role Process Centralization Standardization Optimization Identify and develop global standardization of finance processes e g Procure-to-Pay Order-to-Cash Record-to-Report to enhance efficiency and consistency Collaborate with cross-functional teams to redesign processes eliminating redundancies and promoting best practices Develop a phased road map for implementation in partnership across all key stakeholders including the Global Accounting team outsourced partners controllership and commercial teams Drive a culture of continuous process improvement Support the design and implementation of current processes as the result of new accounting and or control requirements Automation Centralization Evaluate current processes to identify opportunities for automation and centralization leveraging technologies such as RPA AI and ERP Partner with both the Business Process Automation team and the Digital and Technology team on the identification design implementation and maintenance of technology solutions Evaluate required changes and simplification opportunities in Global Accounting processes and controls as a result of the implementation of the global ERP system Transition Management Lead the end-to-end transition of accounting activities into the Global accounting model ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and minimal disruption to operations Direct the development and lead the execution of detailed transition plans including timelines resource allocation and risk mitigation strategies KPI Monitoring Performance Management Establish and monitor KPIs to assess the effectiveness of processes ensuring alignment with organizational goals Regularly report on performance metrics providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement Develop and implement a plan in collaboration with Process owners for process changes mitigations to ensure operational pain points impacting KPI are remediated Stakeholder Collaboration Engage with process owners controllers affiliates and other stakeholders to gather feedback requirements address concerns and ensure alignment on transformation objectives Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote the adoption of new processes and tools Continuous Improvement Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing processes soliciting feedback and implementing enhancements Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to inform transformation strategies About you Bachelor s degree in finance Accounting CA MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification 14 years of experience in finance transformation GBS or shared services environments Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills Proven track record of leading large-scale process transitions transformation and standardization initiatives Strong understanding of finance processes and systems e g SAP Experience with automation tools and technologies e g RPA AI Excellent project management skills certifications such as PMP is preferred Technical accounting skills with a detailed understanding of current GAAP standard and SEC reporting requirements Advanced proficiency with Hyperion and SAP S4 experience is a plus Benefits We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters Whether it is for medical care taking time off improving your health or planning for retirement we ve got you covered Here s a small snapshot Complimentary preventive health check-up for you your spouse OPD coverage Best in class leave plan including paternity family care leaves Counselling sessions to prioritize mental well-being Exclusive discount vouchers on Levi s products We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to empowering individuals from all walks of life to achieve their professional goals with us regardless of race religion gender gender identity pregnancy disability sexual orientation age national origin citizenship status or genetic information We actively seek and encourage applications from diverse candidates including those with disabilities and offer accommodations throughout the selection process upon request To ensure that our products and culture continue to incorporate everyone s perspectives and experience we never discriminate based on race religion national origin gender identity or expression sexual orientation age or marital veteran or disability status LOCATION IND GBS Office Bengaluru FULL TIME PART TIME Full time Current LS Co Employees apply via your Workday account
