Client Services unit of the Trust Funds and Loan Operations Department delivers client services and related operations to business and external clients and is organized along business lines serving the regions and global practices The client services within the area of WFACS responsibilities fall under three categories regional coordination country focal point assistance and project-level fiduciary and portfolio management WFACS team members are based in Washington DC Zagreb Nairobi Brasilia Chennai Manila and Beijing country offices WFACS is currently seeking a highly motivated Extended Term Consultant ETC for its team in Chennai India The ETC will report to the WFACS Supervisor based in Chennai How your contributions will help us achieve our goals The ETC will play an important role in the rollout and implementation of the Bank s blockchain platform FundsChain in Bank financed IPF Operations You will become part of a team created to support FundsChain Champions working in Operations You will be expected to support Operations staff and external Borrowers You may also perform a variety of broad responsibilities of the division including training Borrowers providing solutions and supporting systems design and testing Duties Accountabilities Serve as FundsChain Champion support team member directly supporting WFACS Country Teams rolling out FundsChain in operations You are expected to monitor and respond to queries submitted through the FundsChain CRM by internal clients task teams financial management specialists and procurement specialists legal and external clients project implementation unit staff and borrowers Support and advise on the processes and procedures required to efficiently utilize the FundsChain platform provide support during the rollout phase and through implementation to closing Engage and advise clients on the processes and procedures required to efficiently utilize eDisbursement system and FundsChain blockchain platform Prepare and develop training materials to support the FundsChain initiative using data analytics applied to CRM queries to determine areas that need additional support and training Evaluate the results of the FundsChain surveys to identify areas where borrowers have capacity constraints and provide capacity-building to clients This includes training end-users on how to access and utilize FundsChain s tools and data to monitor and manage the traceability of disbursements and reporting on use of funds Whenever required collaborate with FM in the delivery of FundsChain Trainings for Clients prepared relevant materials to PIUs borrowers on the use of the system work closely with on troubleshooting with technical teams Continually test the FundsChain platform and provide support on development and upgrades to FundsChain Perform other tasks including disbursement related work assigned by your supervisor Selection Criteria This opening has two positionsThe successful candidate will have the following Education Professional accounting qualification including membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India preferred A bachelor s degree in finance Accounting or a relevant discipline Master s degree in a relevant discipline - finance accounting is a plus Certification in systems audit e g CISA considered a plus Experience Minimum of one year of relevant work experience Experience with a financial institution or a software firm is a plus Preferrable experience working with financial systems AI and or blockchain technology Language Advanced fluency in English Ability to clearly communicate in both written and spoken forms and to conduct meetings and delivery training Fluency in another language including Arabic French Russian Portuguese or Spanish is considered a plus Knowledge and Skills Knowledge and application of the Bank s Operational Policies and Procedures and how they relate to disbursements and loan portfolio management Ability to exercise professional judgment and appropriately interpret and apply operational policies as they relate to disbursements and loan portfolio management Willingness to travel on mission and short-term assignments Strong quantitative skills with superior attention to detail and numerical accuracy Ability to manage complex tasks deal with rapidly shifting priorities provide professional support to senior staff and deliver against ambitious deadlines Demonstrates valuable understanding of risks and internal control procedures pertaining to various activities in own functional areas Strong client focus including good interpersonal diplomatic and team building skills required for building and maintaining collaborative relationships Relevant technical knowledge of outlook Microsoft office suit with familiarity using and AI and blockchain technology a plus Abilities Ability and willingness to work with and leverage AI blockchain and other innovative technologies Strong communication skills including the ability to explain and express views opinions clearly and confidently Ability to deal sensitively in a multi-cultural environment and build effective working relations with clients and colleagues Willingness to work in different time zones -
