Job Title Senior Accountant - Ernakulam Kochi WFH Location Ernakulam - Work at home Department Finance Accounting Reports To Finance Manager Financial Controller CEO Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant with Knowledgeable in Gulf tax regulations VAT Corporate Tax to join our remote finance team This is a work-from-home role ideal for candidates with a solid understanding of accounting principles financial reporting and tax compliance in the GCC region You will play a key role in managing daily accounting functions while ensuring full compliance with local tax laws Key Responsibilities Accounting Reporting Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger entries Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS Conduct variance analysis and ensure accuracy in reporting Support budgeting forecasting and cash flow management Gulf Tax Compliance Prepare and file VAT returns in line with regulations in UAE Saudi Arabia Bahrain or other GCC countries Assist with Corporate Tax return preparation and ensure timely compliance under new GCC tax regimes Stay updated with changes in local tax legislation and apply them to accounting processes Coordinate with external tax consultants and regulatory authorities as needed Audit Controls Maintain organized records for audit and tax purposes Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations Team Collaboration Communicate effectively with team members management and third-party consultants via online platforms Assist junior accountants or freelancers as needed Participate in virtual meetings training and finance-related projects Requirements Bachelor s Degree in Accounting Finance or related field Professional certification CPA ACCA CA or equivalent is a plus 4 years of accounting experience preferably within the Gulf region Sufficient knowledge of VAT and Corporate Tax regulations in UAE KSA GCC Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software e g Zoho Books Xero QuickBooks Online or ERP systems like SAP Oracle Excellent Excel skills pivot tables formulas financial models Self-motivated and able to manage workload independently in a remote environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Reliable internet connection and ability to work full-time remotely Work Environment Remote Work from Home Flexible hours with occasional overlap with Gulf business hours Digital tools Slack Zoom Google Workspace Microsoft 365 and cloud accounting platforms Job Type Full time Pay 12 801 57 - 38 928 27 per month Benefits Work from home Work Location Remote
