Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented OT Staff Nurse to assist in surgical operations ensure a sterile environment and support surgeons and anesthetists in delivering safe and effective patient care before during and after surgery Key Responsibilities Prepare the operation theatre by ensuring all instruments supplies and equipment are sterile and ready Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments sponges and other sterile supplies Monitor patient s vital signs during surgery and report changes to the surgical team Ensure strict adherence to aseptic and infection control protocols Verify patient identity surgical procedure and consent forms before surgery Handle specimens properly and ensure correct labeling and documentation Count instruments and sponges before and after procedures to prevent retention Assist in positioning and prepping patients for surgery Provide post-operative care and support in recovery rooms if required Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures patient condition and equipment use Ensure proper cleaning sterilization and maintenance of surgical instruments and the OT environment Qualifications Registered Nurse RN with valid nursing license Diploma or Bachelor s Degree in Nursing GNM or BSc Nursing Specialized training or certification in perioperative OT nursing preferred Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the operating theatre freshers may be considered Knowledge of surgical procedures sterilization techniques and OT protocols Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure Solid organizational communication and teamwork skills Work Environment Operation Theatres in hospitals surgical centers or specialty clinics Long hours including early mornings evenings weekends or emergency surgeries Physically demanding work requiring stamina and attention to detail Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 18 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Paid sick time Provident Fund Language Hindi Preferred Work Location In person
