infrastructure Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for virtualization storage networking and performance issues Configure and maintain VMware High Availability HA Distributed Resource Scheduler DRS vMotion and Fault Tolerance FT Plan and execute upgrades patches and migrations with minimal downtime using vSphere Lifecycle Manager Monitor and optimize system performance using vRealize Operations Manager vROps capacity planning tools and custom dashboards Automate routine tasks and reporting using PowerShell PowerCLI and Python scripting Design and implement disaster recovery DR strategies using tools like Veeam Veritas or native VMware Site Recovery Manager SRM Conduct regular DR drills validate recovery procedures and ensure business continuity readiness Administer and troubleshoot VMware vSAN VMFS NFS and iSCSI storage configurations ensuring optimal performance and availability Integrate and manage SAN NAS storage solutions with VMware environments including zoning LUN provisioning and multipathing Configure and manage virtual networking components including vSwitches dvSwitches VLANs NIC teaming and NSX-T NSX-V Implement micro-segmentation firewall rules and network overlays using NSX for enhanced security and traffic control Enforce security policies apply patches and conduct vulnerability assessments across virtual infrastructure Ensure compliance with internal governance and external regulatory standards through audits and documentation Maintain detailed documentation including architecture diagrams SOPs KB articles and RCA reports Collaborate with cross-functional teams including storage network security and cloud architects to ensure cohesive infrastructure operations Support hybrid cloud environments including VMware
