Job Profile Purchase Officer - Solray Solutions Location Goa Experience 3-5 Years Qualification B E Diploma in Engineering Summary We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchase Officer to handle procurement activities for engineering materials components and services The ideal candidate should have prior experience in sourcing and vendor management within the engineering or renewable energy Solar EPC sector Key Responsibilities Identify evaluate and select reliable vendors and suppliers for engineering materials and components Obtain quotations prepare comparative statements and finalize purchase orders in line with company policies Ensure timely procurement of materials while maintaining quality cost efficiency and delivery timelines Coordinate with engineering stores and project teams to understand material requirements and specifications Maintain and update the vendor database with performance records and payment history Negotiate with suppliers for best terms price quality and delivery schedules Track purchase orders monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted material flow to project sites Handle documentation related to procurement GRN invoices and vendor payments Work closely with logistics and accounts teams for dispatch receipt and payment coordination Support management in developing procurement strategies cost-saving initiatives and vendor development programs Desired Candidate Profile Qualification B E Diploma in Mechanical Electrical Electronics or related engineering field Experience 3-5 years in procurement of engineering or industrial materials Experience in Solar EPC Renewable Energy sector will be an added advantage Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems Robust negotiation analytical and communication skills Excellent coordination and documentation abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Employment Type Full Time Location Mapusa Goa Salary Commensurate with experience and industry standards Job Types Full-time Permanent Work Location Hybrid remote in Mapuca Goa Expected Start Date 08 12 2025
