We at Health Basix are School Healthcare providers Our services include School Clinics Psychological Counselors Special Educators and Health Assessments We are a team of healthcare veterans with over 25 years of healthcare experience who are really passionate about children s health Our mission is Better Health for Every Child and is currently present across 26 cities Roles and Responsibilities of a Special Educator 1 Identifying Behavioural Social and Emotional challenges experienced by students with neurodiverse backgrounds 2 Able to identify and understand the learning gaps and needs of students with neurodiverse backgrounds 3 Provide insight development sessions and scientifically based psychotherapeutic techniques to alleviate the challenges faced to the parents and teachers of the student s 4 Prepare a plan of action called Individualized Education Plan along with the parent and concerned subject teacher 5 Prepare a Remedial Plan and implement Remedial Education to improve the educational experience of the student s 6 Address the effects and impact of neurodiversity to the students and teachers of the class where the student s with neurodiverse background is identified 7 Refer parents for additional support and resources for getting formal assessment if required 8 Report any incidents of self-harm including cutting oneself calling oneself negative names pondering over suicidal thoughts etc to parents and school management 9 Suggest on behalf of the student for a break time or any required arrangements that can help reduce stress levels among children with neurodiverse backgrounds taking a break for five minutes between class going for a walk around campus during intermission extra time for writing during examinations any aid who can read or explain the question to the student etc 10 Conduct workshops for parents teachers and students on various topics relating to neurodiversity Location Bandlaguda Jagir Hyderabad Job Types Full time Permanent Fresher Pay 32 000 00 per month Work Location In person
