Requisition Id 5566 Department Transmission Line Location Karnataka IN Role Purpose The incumbent of this role is accountable for the completion of the specific section of the Transmission line of PT D project The purpose of this role is to act as a Section Incharge and drive the optimization of resources to ensure smooth timely execution of all the activities within quality and safety standards The role holder needs to ensure effective utilisation of people material and machinery as well as adherence to the set standards of GRIL while facilitating subcontractors on project execution Key Responsibilities Create an activity schedule for their section team to successfully complete the specific section of the project Transmission line unit estimate resource requirements on a monthly basis manpower equipment etc and their allocation to the identified activities Manage project staff according to the established policies and procedures Ensure quality delivery by taking support of qualified consultants Manage and facilitate subcontractors involved in the project execution Assign and check the tasks of the subordinate technical staff Support managers in managing material stocking and labour in the production process Monitor progress of the section and identify any deviations from schedule Ensure deliverables are on time and at the required level of quality and safety Review the project schedule with the concerned authorities and the senior management through an RFI and daily progress Raise the requisition for the material requirement periodically Create a buy-in with the client and relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvals Apprise the Project Head and Director-Operations on a need-to-know basis of the progress of the project Request support from relevant stakeholders to obtain necessary inputs Resolve any issues related to the specific section and ensure accurate and timely reporting Ensure all project information including cash flow is properly documented and secured and reported Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including senior management on the progress of the project Indicative Experience and Exposure Diploma in Civil Mechanical Electrical with 7-13 years experience BE B Tech with 5-11 years experience M Tech with 4-10 years experience Experience in handling Transmission line work with scope across 10-30 km in a PT D project
