We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microsoft Azure Platform Engineer to design implement and maintain our scalable secure and highly available cloud platform on Microsoft Azure This role is central to driving our cloud strategy leveraging Infrastructure as Code IaC and implementing DevOps best practices to automate and streamline our development and operations processes Key Responsibilities Platform Design Implementation Design deploy and manage core Azure infrastructure services Compute Networking Storage Security Identity Monitoring with a robust focus on high availability disaster recovery and cost optimization Infrastructure as Code IaC Develop maintain and manage infrastructure and configuration using tools like Terraform Azure Resource Manager ARM templates or Bicep DevOps CI CD Implement and manage CI CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines Repos Artifacts or similar tools e g Jenkins GitHub Actions to automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning Security Governance Ensure all cloud resources adhere to security standards compliance regulations and organizational governance policies Implement and manage Azure security services e g Azure Security Center Defender for Cloud Azure Key Vault Azure Firewall NSGs Monitoring Optimization Configure and maintain monitoring alerting and logging solutions using Azure Monitor Application Insights and Log Analytics to ensure optimal performance proactively identify issues and manage resource utilization and cost efficiency Automation Scripting Write and maintain robust scripts using PowerShell Azure CLI or Python for routine tasks automation and operational efficiency Collaboration Work closely with application development security and operations teams to guide them on Azure best practices and ensure seamless integration of applications with the cloud platform Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to the Azure environment networking and CI CD pipelines Documentation Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for platform architecture configurations processes and operational runbooks Job Type Freelance Contract length 12 months Pay 50 000 00 - 70 000 00 per month Benefits Paid time off Work from home Experience Azure DevOps 8 years Required Ioc 8 years Required ARM 8 years Required CI CD 8 years Required Azure infrastructure services 8 years Required Work Location Remote
