Title Electrical SP3D Designer Location Vadodara Exp 7 yrs Key Responsibilities - Develop and modify electrical 3D models using SP3D for power distribution lighting grounding and cable tray systems - Prepare detailed electrical layouts equipment placement drawings and cable routing plans - Collaborate with electrical engineers to interpret design inputs and convert them into accurate SP3D models - Ensure compliance with project specifications industry codes and safety standards e g IEC NEC IEEE - Generate material take-offs MTOs BOMs and support procurement activities - Coordinate with other disciplines civil mechanical instrumentation to resolve design clashes and ensure model integrity - Participate in model reviews design validation and quality checks - Maintain version control and documentation of design deliverables Required Skills Qualifications - Diploma Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field - Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical design with at least 5 years using SP3D - Strong knowledge of electrical systems in industrial plants Oil Gas Power Chemicals etc - Proficiency in SmartPlant 3D AutoCAD MicroStation and other design tools - Familiarity with electrical codes and standards IEC NEC IEEE - Ability to read and interpret P IDs SLDs and equipment datasheets - Excellent communication and team collaboration skills - Experience with design review tools like Navisworks is a plus Preferred Attributes - Exposure to EPC project environments - Experience in brownfield and greenfield projects - Knowledge of SmartPlant Electrical SPEL or other electrical design platforms - Solid problem-solving and time management abilities
