Job Summary The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and welcoming cafe environment The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee friendly and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages including espresso-based drinks teas and smoothies Operate coffee machines grinders and brewing equipment according to standards Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests taking orders and answering menu questions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and guest areas Ensure all beverages are prepared to company quality standards and presentation guidelines Handle cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times Replenish stock such as coffee beans milk syrups and takeaway supplies Support the cafe team with general tasks including dishwashing restocking and opening closing duties Stay updated on new menu items and seasonal promotions Requirements Previous experience as a barista or in a cafe restaurant environment preferred Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso machines Friendly personality with robust customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask Good communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays Preferred Qualifications Barista certification or coffee training e g SCA Latte Art Passion for coffee and interest in learning more about specialty brews Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices Job Type Full-time Pay 18 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Work Location In person
