Job Title Rebar Detailer - Quality QC Location Chennai Openings 5 Immediate Joining Industry Civil Structural Engineering About the Role We are seeking experienced Rebar Detailers QC to join our quality team The selected candidates will be responsible for reviewing validating and approving rebar shop drawings and Bar Bending Schedules BBS to ensure 100 accuracy and compliance with European UK rebar standards Key Responsibilities Review and check all rebar shop drawings and BBS produced by production detailers Ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with BS 8666 Eurocode 2 and UK standards Validate reinforcement quantities laps curtailments and dimensions Identify discrepancies and resolve issues before client submission Conduct quality audits of detailing output to maintain high standards Coordinate with clients consultants for approvals and technical clarifications Mentor junior detailers and support training on complex detailing tasks Act as a technical authority for Europe UK rebar standard compliance Requirements Diploma B E B Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering 6 - 12 years of experience in rebar detailing with QC checking role Proven expertise in European UK Rebar Standards Proficiency in CADS RC AutoCAD Rebar CAD Strong understanding of reinforcement codes splice rules laps and anchorage Excellent attention to detail with zero-error approach Good communication and client coordination skills Skills Competencies Solid knowledge of RC detailing codes BS 8666 Eurocode 2 BS 8110 Ability to interpret structural drawings and visualize reinforcement Team leadership and mentoring skills Problem-solving and issue-resolution ability Why Join Us Work on international projects with exposure to global detailing standards Opportunity to lead and mentor a growing team of rebar professionals Competitive salary and growth prospects Note Only candidates with international rebar QC experience will be considered Job Type Full-time Pay 16 461 85 - 59 882 06 per month Work Location In person
