- Senior Quality Control Engineer HVAC Location Hyderabad Company Premier Aircon Position Overview The Senior QC Engineer HVAC is responsible for implementing and supervising all quality control activities related to HVAC works on-site The role ensures compliance with project specifications standards and quality procedures during material receipt installation and testing commissioning Key Responsibilities1 Material Inspection Verify all HVAC materials ducts fittings piping valves insulation equipment against approved material submittals Review manufacturer certificates test reports and calibration records Ensure materials meet ASHRAE SMACNA NFPA ISHRAE and project requirements 2 Installation Inspection Inspect duct fabrication and installation alignment sealing supports gauges fire dampers Inspect chilled water GI piping routing welding pressure testing flushing Check HVAC equipment installation AHUs FCUs VRF units chillers pumps exhaust fans Verify vibration isolators flexible connections and thermal acoustic insulation works Ensure workmanship follows method statements and approved drawings 3 Testing Commissioning Witness pressure tests duct leakage tests flushing and chemical cleaning Verify balancing works airflow water flow and performance testing of equipment Check sensor controls and BMS integration as per specifications 4 Documentation Reporting Prepare Inspection Test Plans ITPs checklists and daily QC reports Maintain NCR Non-Conformance Report register and follow up on corrective actions Record calibration status of measuring instruments manometers anemometers flow hoods Support project handover with quality dossiers O M manuals and test certificates 5 Compliance Coordination Ensure strict adherence to project QA QC plan and ISO 9001 requirements Coordinate with project engineers consultants and clients for inspections and approvals Ensure HSE compliance during quality inspections Provide guidance and training to junior QC QA staff Qualifications Bachelor s Degree Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 7-12 years of HVAC QA QC experience preferably in MEP contracting Strong knowledge of ASHRAE SMACNA NFPA ISHRAE and local standards Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Office and QA QC reporting tools Key Skills Technical expertise in HVAC systems ducting piping VRF chilled water equipment Strong inspection documentation and reporting abilities Excellent communication and coordination skills Ability to manage multiple inspections and deadlines under pressure Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 964 73 - 48 971 37 per month Advantages Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
