We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Site Engineer to join our construction team The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on-site ensuring that construction activities are completed on time within scope and to the highest quality standards This role requires hands-on technical knowledge problem-solving abilities and effective communication with on-site workers subcontractors and the project team Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor on-site construction activities to ensure alignment with drawings specifications and schedules Set out level and survey the site as per engineering plans Ensure technical compliance with structural architectural and MEP designs Coordinate with subcontractors site workers and suppliers for smooth execution of work Conduct inspections and quality control checks for workmanship and materials Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines Maintain daily site records including work progress manpower equipment usage and material deliveries Assist in resolving technical issues and site constraints with engineers consultants and architects Support the preparation of progress reports site instructions and variation orders Liaise with local authorities inspectors and consultants during site inspections or audits Requirements Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field 5-10 years of experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry Strong understanding of construction drawings methods and safety protocols Experience in site surveying setting out and construction layout Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Office and basic project management tools Excellent communication coordination and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently under pressure in a dynamic site setting Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Ability to commute relocate Sholinganallur Chennai Tamil Nadu Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package Required Shift availability Day Shift Preferred Night Shift Preferred Overnight Shift Preferred Willingness to travel 75 Preferred Work Location In person
