The Senior Staff Nurse is responsible for supervising and providing high-quality nursing care guiding junior nurses ensuring patient safety and maintaining qualified standards in accordance with hospital policies Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients including assessment planning implementation and evaluation Supervise and guide staff nurses ANMs and nursing assistants in daily clinical duties Administer medications IV infusions and treatments as prescribed by doctors Monitor patients conditions record observations and promptly report critical changes Ensure proper documentation maintenance of medical records and adherence to protocols Assist physicians during medical procedures and emergency situations Maintain infection control practices patient safety and hygiene standards Provide patient and family education on care treatment plans and preventive health Participate in nursing audits quality checks and continuous training programs Schedule duties manage shifts and ensure adequate staffing in wards units Act as a mentor and trainer for junior nurses and interns Handle complaints escalate issues to the Nursing Superintendent when required Qualifications Skills B Sc Nursing GNM with valid State Nursing Council registration Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience depending on hospital requirement Strong leadership and team management skills Sound knowledge of nursing practices protocols and hospital procedures Excellent communication compassion and problem-solving skills Work Conditions Rotational shifts including nights weekends and holidays May be assigned to wards ICU emergency or specialty units as per hospital requirements Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Work Location In person
