Job Title Tendering Business Development Engineer - Electrical Substations Civil Works Location Patna Department Tendering Business Development Industry Construction Infrastructure Substation Projects We are seeking a qualified and experienced Tendering Business Development Engineer with an electrical background and in-depth knowledge of government tendering processes The candidate should have a sound understanding of civil works for substations prior experience in bidding and ability to drive business opportunities aligned with the company s goals Key Roles Responsibilities Tendering Bidding Identify and monitor relevant government tenders through various portals Prepare BOQs technical and commercial proposals in coordination with engineering and finance teams Conduct risk assessment bid pricing and estimation for substations and civil works Ensure timely submission of tenders with all technical and statutory documentation Technical Analysis Study tender documents specifications and drawings Coordinate with vendors subcontractors and internal departments to gather necessary inputs Prepare rate analysis and pre-bid queries clarifications Business Development Identify new project opportunities in the power infrastructure and electrical construction sector Build and maintain relationships with government clients PSUs EPC contractors and consultants Attend pre-bid meetings site visits and industry networking events Documentation Compliance Maintain all bid-related records and documentation Ensure adherence to government norms vendor registration processes and eligibility compliances Project Handover Support Support the project team in understanding the scope and technical specifications post-bid award Coordinate for handover of tender documents BOQs and technical data to execution team Desired Candidate Profile Education Diploma B E B Tech in Electrical Engineering Civil knowledge is an added advantage Experience 3-5 years in government tendering business development or estimation for electrical civil construction Skills Solid knowledge of tender portals e g GeM CPPP and bidding procedures Proficient in MS Office AutoCAD and tender preparation software Excellent communication and negotiation skills Understanding of substations transformers switchyards and civil foundations is preferred Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 60 000 00 per month Work Location In person
