Role Summary:
The People Manager – PR & ORM will oversee the company's public relations activities, manage online reputation, lead a team of PR and ORM professionals, and serve as the key liaison across internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, robust media relations & stakeholder management capability, and the ability to translate corporate objectives into impactful media and online narratives.
Key Responsibilities:
Public Relations (PR):
- Develop and execute integrated PR and corporate communication strategies to strengthen BPTP's brand reputation, visibility, and market positioning.
- Build and nurture relationships with media, journalists, editors, industry bodies, and key influencers.
- Drive proactive media engagement through press releases, media briefings, interviews, press conferences, project launch communications, and corporate announcements.
- Develop and manage an annual PR calendar aligned with business milestones, project launches, leadership announcements, awards, and CSR initiatives.
- Monitor media coverage, industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments, providing strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Lead crisis communication planning and response, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent messaging during sensitive situations.
- Manage award nominations, industry recognitions, and speaking opportunities to enhance corporate and leadership visibility.
Content Strategy & Creation:
- Develop and implement a content strategy aligned with business objectives and brand positioning.
- Create and oversee high-quality content including press releases, media articles, leadership bylines, opinion pieces, speeches and key messages.
