Qualifications:
Technical:
• Chartered Accountant/CPA OR Masters Degree with 2+ years of experience in Life science accounting, preferably US geography.
• Prior experience supporting Life Sciences clients (biotechnology, pharmaceutical, clinical research organizations, or medical device companies) is strongly preferred.
• Preferred experience of R&D; Expense accounting, Functional expense classification (R&D; vs G&A;), Pre‑revenue / development‑stage accounting concepts, Management reporting for biotech executives.
• Strong conceptual accounting knowledge with sound ability on application of US GAAP including revenue recognition (ASC 606), R&D; cost accounting, and accruals.
• Tech Savvy and well acquainted with software/applications like Excel, Word, QBO & Bill.com
• Have strong time management and organizational skills.
• Should have used at least 1 videoconferencing
