Role Description The Accountant role at Astra Tribe is a full-time remote position responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations. Typical tasks include recording and reconciling financial transactions, preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements, and maintaining accurate general ledger accounts. The Accountant will support budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow, and assist with financial analysis to inform strategic decisions. The role also includes handling accounts payable and receivable, supporting tax and regulatory compliance,



and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a remote environment while communicating effectively with a distributed team.
Qualifications
Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Excel, or similar tools).
Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis.
Understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and internal controls.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
